doggma designs was founded in 2003 by Marni Dlin in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

I have had a lifelong interest and commitment to dogs. I have rescued many dogs from unhappy situations and given them a chance at a new and happy life.  In turn, they have enhanced my life in so many ways. They are such loving, devoted companions and friends.  The lessons of unconditional love and acceptance they teach me everyday, enrich my life in ways too numerous to count.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to enhance the special character and beauty of both you and your best friend.

How the dog collars came about.

I was always looking for new interesting colla
rs for my dogs.   It seemed the nice ones were not very strong and the strong ones were not very nice. I thought that there should be functional collars that were also beautiful and expressed the personality of our best furry friends.  I began to work with different techniques and ideas and eventually created a special unique bead collars.

Combinations for you and your pet

As an extension of that design, I thought it would be fun for owners to have bracelets complementing the dog collars and so the combination idea was launched.

Owner's Jewelry

Having lived in various countries, I have long been fascinated by different designs as well as traditional cultural and symbolic adornments. The more I studied bead techniques, silversmithing and metalsmithing, the more intrigued I became with silver, crystals, and semi-precious stones.  This led to the launching a line of designer one-of-a-kind, high end jewelry including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and sets.

On this web site, we offer you different types of jewelry to celebrate both you and your beloved friend.

Doggma Decorum

I am an Animal Behavior College certified dog trainer/behaviorist. Because I love dogs so much, I have expanded into that field, specializing in behavior issues. Perhaps this way, I will be able to prevent dogs from being surrendered or destroyed. In addition to working with behavior problems, I also teach group and private lessons.
